The 9th EuroSun 2012 will be held from September 18 to 20 in Rijeka / Opatija - Croatia. The Conference's overarching theme "Solar Energy for a Brighter Future" addresses solar energy as the most important and most reliable energy source for the future.
 The Conference will bring together scientists, industrialists, academicians and entrepreneurs to discuss the latest cutting-edge technology advancements and business opportunities in the field of solar energy and other renewables. The Conference will include plenary keynote lectures, technical and poster sessions, round table discussions, workshops and a students' master course on solar energy applications.
Technical tours for visiting solar energy systems and trade exhibition for solar energy products will be organised during the Conference.
The Conference social events will offer an opportunity to participants to exchange ideas, make business contacts in a more relaxed ambient. Sightseeing tours will take the participants to the city centre of Rijeka or to nearby tourist resorts and picturesque villages outside the city limits.
